COMPARE

Most co-parenting apps do the same six things. Here is what differs.

Calendars, messages and expenses are table stakes now — every app on this page has them. What separates them is what happens when a message arrives at 11:47pm, and whether the medication gets given on the other side of the handover.

WHAT A YEAR COSTS A FAMILY

The number on the pricing page is often half the story.

Most of these apps charge each parent separately, so a separated family pays double the advertised price. These are the yearly totals for two parents, all in Australian dollars.

Manon
A$198
A$99 each parent, per year
23 of the 24 things we compared

For the days that aren't amicable, and for the medication that still has to be given at 6pm whichever house it is.

OurFamilyWizard
A$400
A$199.99 each parent · Essentials plan
13 of the 24 things we compared

The established one, and the one Australian courts have heard of. Twice our price, per parent and per family.

2houses
≈A$276
Charged as US$199 a year · one subscription covers the whole family
9 of the 24 things we compared

Broad and long-established, with the whole family and mediators on one payment.

TalkingParents
≈A$233
Charged as US$7 a month each parent · Essentials plan
10 of the 24 things we compared

Records-first, and no longer has a free tier as of March 2026.

Lina
A$100
A$99.99 a year · one subscription covers both parents · free tier
5 of the 24 things we compared

The cheapest here and well made. It says plainly it isn't built for high-conflict situations.

ClearPath
A$100–200
A$99.99 a year per subscription · iPhone only · the app does not say whether one subscription covers both
9 of the 24 things we compared

Australian and court-focused. iPhone, iPad and Mac, but still no Android, which matters when both parents have to be on it.

CoOperate
A$200
A$99.99 each parent, per year
5 of the 24 things we compared

The other Australian one, and the closest to us on price — until you notice that both parents pay, which its own site never mentions.

AppClose
≈A$233
Charged as US$83.88 each parent, per year
12 of the 24 things we compared

The biggest by number of users, and free until January 2026. Strong on schedules and exports, nothing on health or medication.

Prices checked 7 September 2026, on the plan closest to what a separating family needs. Figures marked ≈ are converted at A$1 = US$0.7203 (European Central Bank reference rate, 4 September 2026); the price each app actually charges is under every figure. Every mark above comes from the app's own website — where they don't say, we've left it blank rather than guess. And we chose these twenty-four rows, so of course we do well on them: read the rows, not the score.

What this table can't show you

Every app here can hold a calendar. What none of these rows capture is what it feels like to open one on a bad Tuesday — whether it makes the day quieter or gives you one more thing to argue about.

Two of these apps are better than us at things we haven't built yet. We've marked those honestly. If we get one wrong, tell us and we'll fix the row.

What it costs, plainly

OurFamilyWizard charges Australians A$199.99 per parent. We charge A$99. Same shape of product, half the price, and we do more of the things in this table.

We charge each parent because each parent gets their own record — a private logbook the other can't see, and an export they own.

We said nothing here was built to fill a comparison table.

Still true. This page exists because people kept asking. Manon is open — your first month is free.
